Where the Leaves Fall #2
Illustration for Where The Leaves Fall magazine, issue 2, for an essay by Chris King about climate change and how we respond to it.
In his essay ‘Bringing the Climate Crisis to Our Doorsteps’ Chris King asks- ‘When you think of climate change, what images immediately spring to mind? Climate change is more than just melting ice caps in remote parts of the world, it is an issue that affects us all, even if some of us don’t realise it.'
To illustrate this dialogue, I’ve brought the reader in front of a large window of an art gallery.
People from all different stages of life are watching the water levels rise and the cities being swallowed up and disappear just like some kind of a strange installation or performance
