Pikolo is a magazine for young children, that I created, art directed and illustrated together with a team of creatives and publisher, Katrina Talberga. The aim of Pikolo magazine is to provide children with meaningful content: creative and practical tasks, stories, and comics. The publication encourages the younger generation to be creative, curious, caring and engaged, to discuss interesting topics with their parents/carers, and to get to know Latvian illustrators and authors. For each issue I selected, and brought together, a new team of Latvian illustrators and authors, creating a platform for them to reach a younger audience with their work.
